We arrived at Pip and Alan's lovely home (one of the oldest in the village, with an historical connection to WWII there garden being on the crossroads in the village made for a good look out and here was a sentry point with machine gun and the platform is still there) in Kerfourn a small village near Pontivy. Very quaint with its church across the road from the house together with the bar and the boulangerie so we were right in the heart of the village. We were here as workawayers for the first week - gardening and painting. Pip and Alan left for a holiday so we looked after the lovely laid back Jez (the dog) and Guinness (the cat) for a further 2 weeks but got a few more things done in the house that were on Pip and Alan's wish list, so we finished off the kitchen installation and painting the kick boards and side of the units with more painting in other areas of the house.....always having lots of time for cuddles and some lovely walks around the village with Jez.
Getting our hands dirty and enjoying the sunshine.
