We looked after Terry for a week who had recently lost his partner June so he was very quiet and subdued. He loved the company and the knowing we were there and stayed near us in the house, sleeping under our bed each night. He was a funny thing, he had his own chipped cat flap with steps in and out of the house but when we were in the kitchen hewould insist on being let in/out, he would not use the cat flap he just sat at the patio door to be let in and out :)
