We were invited to look after Gary's black labrador, Maimie and his apartment.
This was our first house sit and it was marvelous. Maimie was a loveable old lady that enjoyed lots of cuddles and her walks to the park. We stayed in a beautiful apartment on the 16th floor overlooking the City where we spent Christmas and New Year. It was in a great location and we got to see the area by tour bus and there were loads of places to eat and drink in the neighbourhood.
Roberto Duran (Hands of Stone) lived nearby and we often walked Maimie past his home hoping to say hello. Sadly we only glimpsed him when he drove by in his limousine that appeared in the film!
We did get to meet two of the body guard actors from the film as they owned the great Irish bar on the ground floor of the apartment block.
